Our story begins in Detroit…

Being from the Eastside of Detroit we grew up with food from all cultures and that’s what influences our business. We want to bring the most exciting Chefs to you to share their story through food. In Detroit everyone can throw down in the kitchen but we don’t have many opportunities to introduce our talents to the world. The Curb Culture helps Bridge that gap.


The Curb Culture was created to bring Detroit area’s top chefs and their culinary creations to the public without needing to invest a ton up front. “It’s about leveling the field, lowering the barrier of entry for the amazing talent we have. Detroit has some of the best chefs in the country but
we don’t have the opportunity showcase our talent.
We’ll fill that void.

Owners Chef Darryl Chappell, Jorel & Shellary brings a new twist to the Mobile Kitchen business. Chef Darryl has been in the industry for over 2o years honing his skill and broadining his flavor palette in order to bring the most explosive flavors to your taste buds. Jorel & Shellary has a non profit on the Eastside of Detroit where they started a farm. “It’s exciting to provide herbs that we grow to help add the spice to these fire dishes. Providing farm to table elements and working with other local farmers to source products is one of my focal points.” - Shellary

Detroit has some dope farms and a great farming community. It’s on us to support them wherever we can and be intentional about it. That’s how we build community. That’s how we build Culture”
